Movie day! Any suggestions?

I am having a movie day whilst I make my own soup stock. I've just remembered "Flowers For Algernon" and a theme was born.
Others I plan on adding:
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
Awakenings
The Three Faces of Eve
Sybil
Split

1st 3 are great last 3 not so much....what is SPLIT ?

I love both Sybil and Three Faces of Eve. 🙂 I especially love that Woodward is in both.
Split: Three girls are kidnapped by a man with a diagnosed 23 distinct personalities. They must try to escape before the apparent emergence of a frightful new 24th.
Director: M. Night Shyamalan[imdb.com]

@Kymmacg thanks for the synopsis....I love Joanne and Paul.....there are enough monsters in the real world to aver me from dangerous fiction as entertainment.... I have watched a few but avoid most ....Silence of the Lambs inspired me to recast Jodie Foster hero CAIN as the ultimate VEGAN triumph over carnivoric bible thumpers....he protected albino sheep PERMANENTLY

@Larry68Feminist I have a high interest in human behaviour, psychology and sociology, so it is almost like a text book when I watch these movies. In real life, I'm a people watcher and I've never not come away with a new story after doing so. I write whilst I watch, making it up as I go along. This is just enhanced cuz I don't have to write the plot, it's already there!

"See You in September" [imdb.com]

I am not much into rom/com. 🙂 I was following the them of mentally impaired. 🙂
I'm watching God and Monsters right now.

@Kymmacg I went with the MH theme - this is an oddball one you might watch sometime - it might surprise you. 😉

The Fisher King?

Excellent!

Only when Williams was alive....too sad now that 2 characters are dead in real life and the film itself deals with nightmarish violent family loss...knowing Robin could make you laugh at the most painful moments made the film tolerable endurable I LOVE NEW YORK IN JUNE nude how about you ?

@Larry68Feminist The one of his that I can barely watch, but really like, is What Dreams May Come. And that was before he died. I haven't tried watching it again since he died.

@bingst the forced doctor DIAGNOSIS film ?? Not a realistic movie premise in France or anywhere
