I'm a vegetarian and wouldn't be especially happy under similar circumstances, but shit happens. He didn't actually swallow the pork sausage, though, so I think he's still within his religion's rules (and, in fact, my understanding is that it's not forbidden under some conditions, like if starvation were a risk, though that may not be universal in Islamic teaching). I think McDonald's should have paid for his meal and provided him with the correct sandwich, but he's looking for a payday here and I don't think that's reasonable.
