Hi I'm Australian and our fires are unprecedented in scope and weather conditions. They are not good but I was more concerned with the Siberian fires last Nth hemisphere summer from an environmental perspective.
Australian flora has adapted to fire so may well recover, Arctic flora has not.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.A very valid point, but it does not address the smoke painting NZ glaciers grey and black, nor has anyone yet calculated that effect.
You will have a croc bloom I expect, afterwards. Seems inevitable.
Maybe there will be a boon in destruction of the cane toads?
