Hi I'm Australian and our fires are unprecedented in scope and weather conditions. They are not good but I was more concerned with the Siberian fires last Nth hemisphere summer from an environmental perspective.
Australian flora has adapted to fire so may well recover, Arctic flora has not.
A very valid point, but it does not address the smoke painting NZ glaciers grey and black, nor has anyone yet calculated that effect.
You will have a croc bloom I expect, afterwards. Seems inevitable.
Maybe there will be a boon in destruction of the cane toads?
Heres to hoping you and yours weather this summer well.
