I was sorry to hear about the death of Terry Jones of Monty Python's Flying Circus. This interview with Michael Palin about Terry was interesting...
Growing up, PBS was fortunately one of the three stations we could get, and we were able to watch a lot of British programming. Looking back, it's surprising that my parents, both ministers, enjoyed Monty Python.
Terry was very able both mentally and physically. I think particularly of the episode where he climbed a stone wall and jumped down on the other side while wearing a dress and heels.
He died of complications from dementia, which is just one of many things that, to me, belies the presence of a loving and caring god.
Terry, Michael and John Cleese were my favorite Pythons. I'm so sorry Terry died without that brilliant wit!
