My reaction to the National Prayer Day here in the US. I found it to be typical to see the person taking the leader role as an opportunity to release some form of venom. Trump certainly wanted his congregation of sorts to know that Romney was going to wake up to a political blanket party. I think the line he put out there was ' I really don't like people who say they will pray for you who don't really mean it' I thought about it some today.
If i was religious at all I would be appalled by his hateful speech at the event. I will respect any religious person who denounces his self serving diatribe against Romney and the Democrats.
Well, I just got back from the bar, how many great stories have started you know... I tripped on that national prayer day was celebrated by the current cabinet today. I, personally think that inward thinking about what is going on is a great thing (prayer isn't what I call it), but thinking that it will affect the outcome of things beyond what I choose to do is kind of out there. The thing that I found interesting was that trump chose to put out an angry triad. Mostly that the religious community claims owning morality -very self righteously I want to add- that the choices were to take the turn of events and attack. I think that is what I find very typical.
The Minnesota Atheists celebrate "The National Day of Reason" on that day in the rotunda of the State Capital.
Oh, thank you. I didn't know that it existed. At first, I thought the link was about the prayer day.
