Why are many Christian people against D&D (Dungeons and Dragons.) playing? Or role playing games in general? Well went into a local coffee shop and seen to people have met before there. We started talking and told them about going to D&D meeting. The younger guy, said about how that might be fun, and was thinking about getting into it. The older guy sort of just made fun and ridiculed the idea. Then another person online responded that they would not play. They did not like the idea of tempting outcomes. Personally think it is because they do not want to think out side the box. What do you think?

It seems like for anything out there that people enjoy doing is a target. Take notice how so many faiths frown on things like dancing, celebrating events, consuming certain foods, listening to music, enjoying modern conveniences like electricity. A kid's TV show gets popular, and there was Jerry Falwell spraying his venom at the Teletubbies and Barney the Dinosaur.

Christians think that everything that's not in there book is evil. It's like cops think everyone who's not a cop is a criminal.

Well, we are. I personally broke the speed limit the other day (on my way to work as a corrections officer, i.e. a cop).

Well, when they take religion too seriously, that's what happens. I know African guys that still believe in witchcraft. Very nice people but very backwards on this. What can we do?

It's a game. Never played it and don't want to even try it coz I do not play games. I don't even play the games on my computer. Life is full of too many games.

@TCorCM I don't want to contest the point either, but with as many arguments as I've sat through over the precise interpretations of obscure rules, it most certainly is a game as well. Or else it's law school. 😀

@TCorCM OK. Russian Roulette is also a game. I don't play that one either.

They just don't want to lose.
