Bloombergs chances increase dramatically if the supreme court rules that electors can vote any way they choose - Bloomberg could just buy each vote for 2 or 3 million each and actually quit campaigning altogether and still come in under budget. Then we get to decide if those votes are valid or not. If they aren't, no one hits 271 and the election goes to the house to decide. If they are, Bloomberg is pres and democracy just got killed here.
