Yesterday while driving to work, the morning host talked about how “The Bachelor” ,which I have never watched but know what it is, was having a casting call for people 65 and older for a senior version of the show. He asked people to call in to say whether they would watch something like this. I have to honestly say, this host was a real sh@tbag on the subject. I guess the thought that people 65 and up (I’m about to turn 65 next month) dating and looking for love was beyond the pale. Most people said they would watch a show like that with only one saying no. But I had to go to work so it may have changed.

Any thoughts?

I don't think the networks are going to put anyone on TV who isn't pretty. If they put any seniors on, they will be the most extraordinary-looking seniors we've ever seen!

I think it might be a refreshing change from the very pretty young-uns that they select, that seem to know so little of the world - or what they want - or where they're going yet.
Sure - I'd watch it !

I would hope that most 65 year olds would think the show too ridiculous to participate in. I have seen the occasional episode of some of those types of shows and, like a bad accident, could not turn away. They are so dumb. I would only watch it on accident.

@IrishTxJudy Yes, I know what you were saying. I was a bit off tangent. Youngsters have no clue.
