@Mofo1953 As I said, Jesus was a Jewish preacher (if such a person existed)and as such obviously believed in the Jewish laws. The writings attributed to his teaching obviously reflected this but you certainly know your bible. Some good stuff there but it doesn't compare with the genocide in the old testament

@Mofo1953 Not my theory. Some years ago I watched a BBC documentary on the book of revelations with my then girlfriend who was a regular churchgoer. I wasn't that interested but she kept insisting I watch. I remember saying "probably someone wrote this after eating magic mushrooms". At the end of the programme the presenter said. "we think this was written under the influence of psychedelic "magic" mushrooms. Really made my day.
As for the stories in the old testament. Entertaining mythology.

But you have no evidence to back your opinion, most bible scholars attribute to John the apostle as the writer of revelations. I do not believe any apostle lived long enough to write the scrolls which are carbon rated past their expected lifetime of the times.
