How many of us remember Senator Speedo aka Paul Tsongas who was running for president in 1992?
1992 - Paul Tsongas Denied His Health was an Issue
Paul Tsongas denied that his cancer was an issue, his doctors gave him a full and intact health certificate to handle the rigorous duties of presidency, Paul Tsongas even used to invite full press at the swimming club to show how he was healthy and could complete many swimming laps without getting tired. With this he won a nickname from the press... Senator Speedo. Tsongas lost the nomination and within 5 years he dropped dead at 55. What he and his doctors wanted us to believe was not true.
2020 - Bernie Sanders is Denying His Health is an Issue
Candidates will go to extremes to play down the risks and unfitness of the candidate before an election. It always happens. Bernie Sanders is doing the same after one heart attack at the age of 78. He got a doctor's certificate, he keeps saying... look at my energy, look at my campaign schedule etc.etc. It all sounds familiar. It is a denial, it is smoke and mirrors to fool you.
Bernie is old and not healthy. He is not fit to become president. Don't give him the keys.

What gets me is his (Bernard's) anger.. It’s like he’s begging for another one! I’d trust Biden doing pushups … and selecting a component VP.. before I’d trust ol’ Bernie even making it through the General (election).
My dad turns 91 in a few days, and he’s concerned with
Bernie's age … though didn’t realize Biden was near the same. Dad thinks Bernie’s too old. Mom, still in her eighties, does too

Now your parents are right and we are talking about real voters. I called Bernie an unfit, hunchback, old, frail candidate with some bad ideas a long time ago. He is a terrible candidate or messenger for any message and this presidential run is all about his selfish ambition to become president which is a pipe dream.
Nice try anyway. Sanders has a slightly lower percentage than all the other potential candidates but not much different. Never going to convince anyone who wants Sanders for president his age is going to make a difference with all the others in pretty much the same group. In fact if you are using age as a criteria, Trump would be the best choice since he is the youngest of the remaining field of choices.
