I’m seriously beginning to loathe Christians. Every time I’m at work I get asked if I believe in jesus and did. I know that everything good that happens to me is a blessing from god. Please excuse me while I puke! It’s getting harder for me to give a polite response and I often feel as if I’m being provoked. How do some of you respond to random people proselytizing? I’m not a mean spirited person so I think this is why they do this. Mid conversation I get people telling me how to think, feel, and pray.

If this is happening at work, your best response is to reply, "Thank you for your concern, but that's really nobody's business but my own." Eventually they might get the message.

Then again, if you're like me, you can ask them if they're not worried that they're breaking God's law by wearing clothes made of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19), and then point out that there are probably some Muslims over there, in that sort of direction (make sure to point vaguely), that they could be converting. And then go to lunch and have some kid boiled in its mother's milk. 😀

Thanks. I do work near Dearborn MI, so I will reply with the conversion of Muslims just for shits and giggles. The first reply would only be an invention to pursue me further because I am an easy target. It’s funny how I never see them having this same conversation with my Muslim coworkers and it’s quite a few, hell my manager is one. I also don’t have this problem with Muslims I encounter every day. I am aware it’s very different in other parts of the world.

@AngiePoo I just had lunch in Dearborn Saturday. Split a combo meal with someone at Masaya Mediterranean Cuisine on Schaefer. The combo for one is big enough for two.
(For reasons totally unconnected to the food, it's not going to work out where I see that person again, though.)

With the supposed answers to everything … they sure are an insecure lot.. They sense by my demeanor that I’m not with their program, but prod all the same, or perhaps even more because of that 😕

I let my disappointment or indifference show as a response to the blessed bullshit. And, instantly move on to another topic or task. They get it; want my attention and respect, cut the crap. Want me gone - bring on jesus & friends 🙂
