Coronavirus shakes up tRump. [yahoo.com]
“Televisions on his plane were tuned to Fox News, which broadcast dire graphics illustrating the single worst day for stock markets since the 2008 financial crisis.” Even Faux news can’t hide the stock market crash. ”He would abandon the cautious, business-as-usual approach he had hoped would calm Wall Street jitters and instead pursue a broader economic stimulus to reassure investors, aiming to avert an election-year recession that could doom his presidency.” We can only hope. One brilliant (not) idea was to, ”… pushed for aggressive action: a payroll tax cut that could provide near-immediate relief to American workers and businesses.” Brilliant now let’s ratchet up the deficit even more and leaving even less money for real tangible action but doing nothing for people’s safety. Kind of a Deja vu all over again to 2008 when policies under the Republicans caused the last fall. At least that one didn’t involve human lives and a global pandemic. And all the muttonhead-in-chief is worried about is the next election

Don't you dare for a second think this is anything but another way to cut funding for Social Security and Medicare. That's what payroll taxes are used for, funding those programs.

Yep, he’s using this pandemic to destroy our SS and Medicare. I’m sure he thinks he’s quite brilliant.😡
