Update on Darkwing Cluck. She seems to have accepted her apron; and Grey, the rooster, hasn't had an adverse reaction to it (like attacking her); maybe, unlike the Ferengi, he prefers his females to be clothed 🤔.

Here there are many chickens and roosters everywhere ... our neighborhood, downtown, highways, parking lots. We constantly see them. They had not visited our yard until recently, when they began foraging here. We have adult cats, but the cats seem to have no interest in attacking them, even the hens with babies. I guess chickens can become too formidable for cats.

The only chickens running around my place are mine. I do get wild turkeys though 🙂.
