Just sign a statement that Atheists will all burn in Hell and LGBTQ people can't have a real marriage, then you can volunteer at this CoVID-19 treatment center.

I heard about this, and all I can say is the Hippocratic Oath overrides this ridiculousness. This has to do with anything that is going on right now, how?! Pitiful little insecure prick who dares use this time of need for their vile idiocy.

Eloquently stated and right on the head of the nail.

Wow. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There hasn't been a tragedy in history where Xtians have not revealed themselves for the actual ill-willed creeps that they are. "Brotherly love" my ass.

I really wanted to volunteer there, but I guess I can't. Bother!

No can do, pandemic or not. I have no faith. Neither does Donna Trump.

Sign Donald (or Donna) Trump as your name...

God Mobsters will use any excuse to try to foist their hateful world view on everybody else.

So much for altruism! I am sure Jesus made a speach somewhere in the bibly saying "low he spake 'My lambs you must swear to hate ...(fill in your favorite)... only then can you truely follow the shepard of light.' so they did."

I would not use this hospital and would not trust them to provide adequate healthcare to anyone I care about.

Hypocrites.

So much for " Do unto others as you would them do unto you."
Yet another case of discrimination courtesy of the Religiotards.

Gee, I wonder if that statement was written by a conservative evangelical? It's so hard to tell.

No slimy stone unturned! Even if you arr desperately sick, they gotta get your soul first!

Which group of soul snatchers are we talking about ?

At least they are willing to treat all people in need, and not just religious nuts. 🙂

I'd hate be an Atheist who winds up there and has to get through triage, you ain't gonna make it.

@TheMiddleWay Your call, you roll the dice, it's your life.

@TheMiddleWay I would suggest that their care would also include a lot of telling you how evil you are and that you need to repent etc etc etc. Given the fact a catholic priest stood at my grandmothers bed hours after she had given birth to two very sick little twins and told her that god was punishing her for conceiving children out of wedlock (shotgun marriage) I have no faith in them to not chastise the wicked. The medical professionals might do the right thing but the daily or hourly or whatever visits from the relgious nutters would kill me or them I tend to argue back at them.

In this case might be better to just take your chances with the virus than trust them for help.................

@TheMiddleWay I didn’t see anything in the post that confirmed that this place was providing legitimate health care. Since they seem to be coming from a place of hate and prejudice I’m not sure anyone who falls into one of their hated groups would receive “legitimate” care. So again I’d either go up the road to the next treatment facility or yes I might just decide to take my chances against the virus. I’ve not said anything about “loved ones” here so why have you chosen to put words in my mouth? I’ve been a nurse in both secular and religious institutions and would hands down choose a secular one any day. I want decisions related to my care made on knowledge and sound science rather than delusions and the rantings in an old book.

In the American health care system that is probably true for many !

@TheMiddleWay I question the legitimacy of an organization that would turn away volunteers in times like these. I would not sign the paper and would instead go to one of the many other treatment centers to share my help. If they end up with insufficient help and people die as a result that is on them. They get to pick and choose who they will allow to help there and I get to choose where I will help. Sounds fair. I will be saving lives ...... just somewhere else.

My thoughts exactly. Would I want these people treating me if I got sick with "anything at all?" 'Cuz I think that they would just let me die in their care. I hate to say it, but I don't trust this situation.

@TheMiddleWay. No I would not. I’d offer my help without having to lie or compromise My own principles. If they choose not to accept my help simply because I did not share their hate of certain groups then again it is on them. They alone shoulder the responsibility for a resulting shortage of help for turning away qualified help. Back in the 80s HIV was virtually ignored because only Gay men got it. Only when it started hitting other groups did research begin. Nurses and Drs take an oath and To sign a document contrary to that oath has moral ramifications at best. But certainly legal ones as well. I live here in the real world where there are many other hospitals in New York so if turned away for not signing I’d go elsewhere.

@TheMiddleWay you truly believe that there is only one health care facility in New York? The villain here Is the facility that is turning away qualified help due to the absence of a signature on what even you describe as a worthless piece of paper. Until you’ve educated yourself as to what is going on in New York probably best to keep your opinions to yourself. Has nothing to do with my being a atheist or anything else. I’ll go to a facility that comes from a place of love as there are many to choose from. Every hospital, every nursing home, ships docked and being turned into mobile hospitals need help. I’ll go there. Let the religious groups condoning their attitude staff that place. Again if they don’t have the staff it’s on them. I shoulder none of the responsibility for their choices. Save your outrage for them. Believers respond to your kind of attempt to guilt them into conforming. I’m immune to it so move on.

If that is really required, than at least it will be mostly people who believe that nonsense that will be exposed and get sick.

5

And it's a safe bet good ol' Mike Pence is on board with this. Fuck him and all these half-wit morons.

7

Fuck that noise.
Franklin Graham is a piece of shit.
