This is bowing to mawkish sentimentality instead of doing all she can to uphold the social distancing rules which have been put in place to stop the spread of this virus and save lives. We don’t need to congregate in a group to mourn the loss of a loved one, we can do that privately or by communicating with others by social media or telephone. The deceased is oblivious to any funeral arrangements anyway.

Gatherings at funerals or cremations don't turn out well in these times of Corona..
