Trumps government is fucking me over. When I check to see status of my stimulus check, the IRS basically says I do not exist. I filed taxes in 2018, (not yet this year as it is not due until July). I am a small businessman and on April 6 applied to the Small Business Administration for a Economic Injury Disaster Loan, they gave me a case# and said I could use that case# to check back on my request. I go back this week to their site and there is absolutely no place on the site where I can log in and use this case# to check on my request. Trump is ruining america. He is making america suck. I am sure I am not the only one who is being fucked over by his government.

It looks as though they removed the link to the disaster relief loan page because appropriations ran out. Unfortunately, you need to get to that page in order to login and check status. I followed the link for disaster relief not related to COVID-19 which took me to a page with login, but I'm not at all certain it's the right page.

By the way, I would think you got an email after applying, and that should have a link in it for checking status.

@creative51 What about that link I gave you?

@creative51 Hmm. Wait, did you dismess the splash popup? Hit the X in the upper right corner or click on "continue" so you stay on that page, which has a login link in the upper right. As far as I can tell, you can only get status after you login.

@creative51 Even after you login?

When I check my status, the IRS says "Payment Status Not Available. According to information that we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time."

I have filed both 2018 and 2019 taxes, but I always end up owing a little bit, so they wouldn't have my direct deposit info.

I'm trying to get into the system to input my bank info, because I absolutely do not want to see or handle a check with Trump's name on it. I would surely barf, as I deposit it. Plus that could take several weeks to receive a check, from what I understand.

To add to my frustrations, I'm also trying to get into my overloaded State's Unemployment Insurance site, after filling everything out some weeks ago, and suddenly they say my user name and password don't exist. From what I hear in my community, I'm not the only one with that problem today.

According to the IRS's web site, their "Get My Payment" tool should allow you to enter direct deposit info. Maybe it isn't even letting you get that far?

Uh oh.
"If this tool doesn’t offer you the option to provide your direct deposit information, it means the IRS will mail your Economic Impact Payment."

@bingst Yes, that's what I fear, that they plan to mail me my check and it will take weeks or months. I'll try the "get my payment' link again tomorrow. 😟

Check your bank accounts, they are the only thing that matters

@creative51 I think the government has, and has had everyone's banking info for just about forever.......
