Can anyone share proper links where one can find the literal translation/interpretation of the religious texts from across the globe?
I feel it's important for me to know the scriptures if I want to beat the preachers at their own game.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Wow that'd be some list of work to plough through. Best read a book on history of religions,there are plenty out there. Direct texts can be hard to follow being written in very old styles ,often meaning can be totally missed using your modern mind. Best to let a scholar explain meaning and certian use of words /phrases.
I did read an English version of the Quoran a while back...hard to follow and rather disorganised and repetitive to be honest.
You ll never beat the preachers so why try?Just leave them to it.
