Absolute truth. Some of these people believe the craziest things. And I already knew people were nuts based on how many actually believe there is a God. But lately, some of the conspiracy theories have surprised even me. And it takes a lot to do that.

Careful now. Fifty percent of American scientists believe in a higher power. Do you really mean to describe Sir Isaac Newton as “nuts”?

Why not? Being nuts doesn’t mean you can’t be creative.

I don't understand how this is possible? Science is supposed to equal logic.

I would like to see some source for your statement that "Fifty percent of American scientists believe in a higher power."

@jlynn37, @Jetty

Sir Isaac Newton:

“This most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being....This Being governs all things, not as the soul of the world, but as Lord over all; and on account of his dominion he is won't to be called Lord God"pantokrator," or Universal Ruler....”

Apparently different people use different logic. Maybe truth is not absolute.

@jlynn37, @ReadyforaChange, @Jetty Odd, but “wont” without an apostrophe gets switched to “won’t” every time and there’s nothing I can do.

HELP ADMIN: emergency!

@WilliamFleming at the time a Newton was living, much of science was n it’s infancy, religion was at its apex. There was little to disprove religion, much to encourage you to at least force you to say you believed (blasphemy laws). Few of those excuses exist in the modern world, at least in the West and non Muslim countries.

@Barnie2years There were plenty of atheists in Newton’s day. Newton once said that the mistake atheists make is to think that lumps of matter are things. There are lots of folks today making that same mistake.

@maturin1919 Do you have any references for Newton being insane? I see nothing about that on Wikipedia.

@ReadyforaChange John 1:1 In the beginning was the logos, the logos was with god and was god. John 1:14 ... the logos become flesh.

biblically, god is logic.

would you say people being made into flesh is done in some logic way?

@WilliamFleming Many LUMPS of matter are people...so many more now than ever before.
