Might have finally found a way to escape my poverty trap.......

Unfortunately it may hurt my mom.....

My mom is discussing with me running a dropshipping business on her behalf in such a way that I'd just be earning money for her to donate to my ABLE account.

While it is a way for me to earn money that won't hurt me, it may hurt her as the more money she is shown to have in a bank account under her name, the more it can negatively impact what she is expected to pay in student loans.

I really do not know how to feel about this....

Can't you calculate the point when this idea would have a negative effect? Just make sure you got the maximum profit out of it. But I can't get how your profits could be lower than the amount she is expected to pay in student loans? Again, there must be a point of maximum profits. Find it and do what you have to. Also, why can't you open your own dropshipping business then? There are many professional dropshipping services, such as mydepot.com, that will manage all the stuff by themselves. Maybe running it on your behalf will reduce potential expenses?

an office of financial aid at most any University might be worth chatting up about it. it's like free Financial advice from someone in the business. you may have already done this, it's just a suggestion.
