We are all natural, as opposed to supernatural, liars. Some of us, for a variety of reasons, lie more often than others.

Parents or caregivers, by recogizing children’s strengths, can help them build egos. When that wasn’t done, building one’s own ego is necessary. Let us not count the ways.

Religions, by lying, interfere with ego building and weaken egos when built. Repairing an injured ego is a valid reason to lie.

Lying is not wrong; doing harm to others by lying is wrong.

You're told what to say, you get paid to do it. If you have any integrity you jump ship the first time you're told to lie. After the first lie you are culpable, and have been reduced to pond scum.

Paid to say what they're told to. Truth has nothing to do with it. Once they leave the truth comes out. Their replacement calls them disgruntled.
