Do you regularly attend a place of worship? Yes, my espresso machine! Every morning.

A gay frien dtold me a story about how when he lived in San Francisco, he went every sunday to a gay bar called "Church". Just so he could tell his parents that he wen tot church every sunday.

I don't think I'd ever go to a place of warship myself, at least not to actually "worship".

Thinking of upgrading to a Rocket R58 or similar dual boiler rotary pump machine.

Rancilio Silvia with PID controller here. Which machine you got?

Silvia is my goddess. She sits next to my Maestro grinder (beat out a $4000 grinder in blind test) on the altar of exquisite espresso. Locally roasted blend of excellence brewed on day 4 thru day 20. And to think that in my 20's, I considered Taster's Choice good coffee!

@Nofallo I had a Rocky grinder before, I now use a Mazzer Major. Originally lived at a Starbucks, got it reconditioned. Originally $2000, got it for $400

This worship crap really annoys me. What sort of entity demands that you must kiss arse and grovel on your gutz to them ? Only people like Jesus and our murderous little fat degenerate in North Korea seem to demand this.........[ birds of a feather ? ]

Yes, when I lived in Western Washington State, my coffee pot was my savior too!

It's too hot where I live now to drink coffee, so my spiritual sanctuary (no worship involved) is enjoying the changing colors of the sky from my bike ride or my perch on a favorite log at the beach.

Yeah me too. Sometimes I mix it up with a French press.

I have a shrine like that in my kitchen. I attend it numerous times a day. It nourishes and sustains me, especially in times of great stress.

In my native language "The last supper" is called "the secret supper"... So there is a joke "I am a very religious person - I organize a secret supper for myself every single night."
