End Public Funding of Religious Education! Supreme Court decision in Espinoza v. Montana Department of Revenue requires that states that establish school voucher programs fund religious schools as well as secular private schools. Contact your state lawmakers and ask them to repeal school voucher programs, or remind them why your state doesn’t have them in the first place.

I take this as a positive, because if secular and non secualr organisations are to be treated the same, surely secular organisations should pay tax?

@Pompey I disagree with our taxes funding private schools secular or otherwise.

How about ending public funding
of Marxist universities

Marxist Universities? Please specify.

I did not know we had any here!

I do know that eventually White Supremacists will turn America into the mid east. And morons thinking funding of religious controlled schools is ok, until Muslims or Hindu's figure out how they too can work the system.

And the people who want that think they will be safe. I think they will just smell bad and beat their wives, kids. Then when Nirvana doesn't arrive, they will kick the dogand spit at the cat.

Jest another useless opinion.

Can’t wait for Betsy DeVos to be gone.

She's done SO much damage!
-made it easier for sexual predators and rapists on campus to avoid prosecution
-pushed vouchers so as to fund religious schools
-did away with programs that helped students pay back student loans
-cut $$$ for public education (something repugs always do)
And SO many other dastardly deeds.

I hope the FBI investigates all her testimony to Congress and proves that she lied so she can go to jail for perjury.

@HumanistJohn for some bizarre rabid reason she’s requiring on campus school to begin on the scheduled first day of school. No online, and no hybrid of the two. It has to do with funding, but what difference does it make if they’re getting instruction? Our first day is Aug. 10th. In Arizona. I don’t see covid going away here by then. Schools are petri dishes as it is. I’m at a high school (non-teaching staff). Trying to make sure 2,000 kids are wearing masks all the time is bound to be hit & miss and classes aren’t big enough for distancing. She’s pure evil.

won't do me any good to contact mine. Theyre all damned evangelicals.

By not saying anything, nothing will change!

@soulless
You got that right.

I don't believe in demons or hell (or angels or god(s) for that matter).
But orange-blob and his followers are demons from hell.

Our governor and secretary of education feel the same way.

@soulless you don't know who my reps, senators, etc are so I suggest not speaking from ignorance.

Public money shouldn't fund religious education.

Nor anything relating to religion...but that opens up a huge can of worms...from churches, to soup kitchens, to hospitals... but think of all the revenue being missed...? Even if they paid half of their tax...
