When depression hits, why do people go into a reverse sleep mode? ( sleep during the day, wake at night)
Evolutionary component? Survival technique?,,,,,,,,,,,Or,,,,,,,?

I have always been a night person. Even as a kid I wanted to stay up and watch Carson and the late movies. It was one of the reasons which drew me to a career in music. I could sleep in.

Are creative people more inclined to do sleep shift? More freedom? I like the night because I can work in the garage without interruptions.

@PondartIncbendog That may be true. The night seems more peaceful to me, and I always found the children of the night were more interesting than the day people.
