What liberals felt when Obama was twice elected, was not glee and triumph, but relief, and a sense of possibility and security to come for everyone. What we felt when HR Clinton wasn't, was not rage and fury, it was a huge sense of loss, of our future, our cultural strengths, of national unity, of common sense and science over superstition and enforced religion. We were right - but we haven't crowed about it, and we haven't been able to stop the juggernaut yet.
