Highly popular in the 80's, Robert Palmer was both an excellent and unusual performer. His presentations were always dramatically striking and some were poignant, but still contained humor.

Born: January 19, 1949, Batley, United Kingdom
Died: September 26, 2003, Paris, France

One of my favorites of his compositions both, musically and lyrically, is "Johnny & Mary" . I listen to it tongue-in-cheek, knowing that, in past days, my life was uniqely similar. Guess that's why, these days, I choose to simply stay alone while I get my s&#$ together.

Anyone else identify with this?

Robert Palmer died very young. He sang Doctor, Doctor, Addicted to Love. Great artist.
