As someone who is recently single, and flopping horribly in online dating. My main hobbies are motorcycles, electronics, computer gaming, and starting into target shooting. Chances of organically meeting a single female during one of my typical free time expenditures is almost 0.

I find sports in general to be drole and a waste of time. I don't drink at bars and find the idea of just randomly meeting a perfect match at a random bar so astronomically unlikely I want to punch people that suggest it. Also going out to drink... Then driving home... yeah no.

So if your not around single females, and can't see yourself going out and just trolling a bar for maybe that one in a million... what do you do?

maybe explore something with a different twist that might be frequented by women or hang out at the grocery store

I've put some thought into this. Didn't really come up with very many good options, yoga, fitness maybe? I feel like most girls go out together in groups and for me that's almost a personal nightmare. Also kinda feel like a jerk interrupting a group of women on a girls night out to just say hi to one girl, who is potentially already dating or married.

With the complexity that gets involved with finding a partner, it's no wonder divorce rates are as high as they are when the default matching system is people at bars...

I like the idea of a match.com but women rarely fill out their profiles enough to make the matching algorithms work, and the business ends of the company means they keep dead profiles and fill their user base with shill girls to get men to pay to join. Not to mention the available dating pool is split across dozens of dating sites/apps.

It's almost to the point where the idea of finding someone is depressing to me.

Meetup groups. Hiking or such or dancing that would encourage mixing.YOu keep going back to bars in your posts???? why even think about that?
