Never met him, would love to. He's got me on his side already. Stolen from FB

DEAR RED STATES... WE'VE DECIDED WE'RE LEAVING.
Dear Red States... We've decided we're leaving. We intend to form our own country, and we're taking the other Blue States with us. In case you aren't aware, that includes Hawaii, Oregon, California, New Mexico, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, and all the Northeast.
We believe this split will be beneficial to the nation, and especially to the people of the new country of New Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and Washington D.C. We also get Costco and Boeing.
To sum up briefly: You get Texas, Oklahoma, and all the slave states. We get stem cell research and the best beaches. We get the Statue of Liberty. You get Branson, Missouri. We get Intel and Microsoft. You get WorldCom. We get 85 percent of America's venture capital and entrepreneurs. You get Alabama. We get two-thirds of the tax revenue, you get to make the red states their fair share. Since our aggregate divorce rate is 22 percent lower than the Christian Coalition's, we get a bunch of happy families.
Please be aware that Nuevo California will be pro-choice and anti-war, and we're going to want all our citizens back from Iraq at once. If you need people to fight, ask your evangelicals. They have kids they're apparently willing to send to their deaths for no purpose, and they don't care if you don't show pictures of their children's caskets coming home.
With the Blue States in hand, we will have firm control of 80 percent of the country's freshwater, more than 90 percent of the pineapple and lettuce, 92 percent of the nation's fresh fruit, 95 percent of America's quality wines (you can serve French wines at state dinners) 90 percent of all cheese, 90 percent of the high tech industry, most of the U.S. low-sulfur coal, all living redwoods, sequoias and condors, all the Ivy and Seven schools, plus Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cal Tech and MIT.
With the Red States, on the other hand, you will have to cope with 88 percent of all obese Americans (and their projected health care costs), 92 percent of all U.S. mosquitoes, nearly 0 percent of the tornadoes, 90 percent of the hurricanes, 99 percent of all Southern Baptists, virtually 0 percent of all televangelists, Rush Limbaugh, Alex Jones, and Rand Paul. We get Hollywood and Yosemite, thank you.
Additionally, 62 percent of you believe life is sacred unless we're discussing the death penalty or gun laws, 44 percent say that evolution is only a theory, 53 percent that Saddam was involved in 9/ and 61 percent of you crazy bastards believe you are people with higher morals then we lefties.
Oh, and you can have all The new Corona cases since you're too dumb and self- centered to wear a mask. Peace out, we are the people
The Blue States🥰😇Thank you

Norm Ornstein is a political scientist who was on NPR's "On Point" on Friday and pointed out that the U.S. political system has some fundamental flaws that have allowed the less populated rural states to have an outsized influence on elections and tip things in favor of the GOP. Worth a listen.

I have always said Lincoln should have let those traitorous, Jefferson Davis loyalists leave.

Let me know if you find a spot with low humidity and no snow. I can pack in one hour . Oh yeah...weed will be legal right?

Okay, let's talk about the capitol of the new country. Do we want Washington DC? May I hear other nominations?

Santa Cruz, Ca.

This is the anarchy that Steve Bannon and others want to happen. FB will push the message for Trumpers in ways to harvest "likes." Keep in mind that today anybody can broadcast fake agenda from their own home and be rewarded for it. This same ability promotes Qanon and lizard people. It also shows you all of the destruction in various cities. Fact check everything, please. Beware of the sites you use to do this. Ask yourself how long the site has been around, etc.

@K9Kohle789 You have to do your own research. My hints above are about the only examples I am going to give you. I do not debate.

No, no, no. Texas, Arizona and some other states should be given back to Mexico.

I unironically 2nd this. Let the "Build that wall" folks lose their mind.

@caselimor But can we get them or Mexico to pay for it?

..... 0 percent of the tornadoes......
..... 0 percent of all televangelists......

Something is wrong with your numbers.

Typos, I'm sure.

I'd agree, and I would also say that there really is something wrong with the whole tone of it, it should be written to make them think they are getting a very good deal, I mean, why promote a good idea and stab it in the back at the same time?

I think that was supposed to be 100%

I wish they would secede again and this time the North let them. It would improve the politics for the remaining states immensely.

@Gwendolyn2018 More than half of the ones that care enough to vote are...

@Gwendolyn2018 Tom's point still stands. If you eliminate the states who have a greater than 50% voter turnout for Trump, you'll be left with states that have a smaller than 50% voter turnout for Trump... regardless of how many or how few non-Trumpsters there are in those states.

@Gwendolyn2018 True, but my point stands. If it came to pass, I assume you would see lots of people actually immigrate from their state to somewhere in the other country after the split. You know, like all the lefty Americans that say they will move to Canada or somewhere in Europe if a Repub becomes prez? I assume if the US did split, that both sides would allow flexible immigration between the two, maybe even flexible borders.

@JeffMurray Right now that would be the South and most of the Midwest, where the Repubs have been winning the vast majority of fed elections in the last couple decades.

@TomMcGiverin so all the people who, at least in the redest of states, have been denied the right to vote. Or, at very least, have had their voting options made nearly impossible are just screwed then? Gerrymandering and closing polling stations does a lot for the party in power dec>ding how those things go. Typically, those things don't work against anyone with the power to do anything about it. The poor don't have the means to run for office and certainly not the ability to migrate if left behind by the party that claims care about them.

@Gwendolyn2018 I'm sure we could let you emigrate based on your voting record. 😀

@Gwendolyn2018 Ummmm .... you are living in MO (state of misery), I've been there, you aren't fooling anyone. 😀

@Gwendolyn2018 I'm happy for you that you like it there. I could adjust to the heat and humidity, but the midnight tornadoes, frequent floods, all manner of snakes including venomous ones, bugs that think of me as dinner, drunk bowhunters ... .all that was a bit too much for me.

I'm just a little south of Seattle now ... occasionally a little shaking, some smoke from distant fires, an occasional black bear or puma, and a lot of rain. It never really gets warm enough to go swimming, but that's a small price to pay to be free from all that other stuff and the fishing is great!

I do kinda miss the fireflies though! Enjoy!

Also, stupidity appears to be contagious.

We'll take your word for it.

Some of us in red states are doing our dardest to turn blue. What about us?

gearl Level 8 Sep 20, 2020

@dave1459 due to high real estate costs, not due to politics. Don't see many choosing to go to Alabama or Mississippi, but the more the merrier here in Florida, where tons on New Yorkers already own summer properties, we need sane people here to turn Florida from a weird state to a normal one.

@K9Kohle789 Marco Rubio is a Senator, Cuban. What's your point? We have a republican retard as Governor, 2 republican senators, Rubio and Scott, that is why we need an influx of permanent residents from NY and see if we turn an insane Florida into something resembling less of a lunatic asylum.

@K9Kohle789 it will change slowly, like Orlando, now will vote blue due to the influx of Puerto Ricans, almost 2 million. Rubio, Scott, De Santis, Mast, Bondi are all pathetic losers that were voted in thanks to the racists in the north and center, and the fucking cubans who basically own Miami.

Pipe dreams.

that would mean an armed and motivated Theocracy on the border rather than within the border . . probably work well. Can they take all the Right wing militias in too?

Does that mean that the amateur militias and libertarians in New Hampshire get deported to the New Slave state? Does it mean that we will give refuge to people that are politically and/or racially persecuted in the New Slave states?

@K9Kohle789 We do have them here, the militias and the "free staters" They are still migrating here. Have you heard of militia organizer Jerry Delemus? [fosters.com] There is quite a story. I first heard of him in June, 2015, when my husband told me that there was a planned "draw Mohamed" contest in Rochester, NH. I had no idea what that meant, but my husband explained that it was a way in which the anti-Muslim gangs could aggravate Muslims enough that a Muslim could be drawn into a violent confrontation. It never happen I believe because the police said "no way are we going to provide protection for you if you do that." Yeah, Rochester Police. There is so much more I want to say on this subject, but it is too much for one post so while you "enjoy this link, I will add another response. I am fascinated by JD. [lvcriminaldefense.com]

@K9Kohle789 the last link was in regards to Jerry's conviction for his role in the Bundy Standoff here is a link the the draw Mohammad contest: [wmur.com]

@K9Kohle789 But wait there is more, so much more. By August of 2015, JD had formed the "NH Veterans for Trump" group and invited Trump to speak in Rochester in September of that year. See how that turned out in the link below. And BTW, the next day some thugs in Somerville, MA (affectionately called 'slummerville' by Mass-holes like me). two brothers were arrested for beating a homeless man because they believed him to be Hispanic. The "gentlemen" said they were inspired to do this by Mr. Trump. Trump Rally (excerpt) [washingtonpost.com]

So now lets talk about Jerry's wife, shall we? Watch the video below. Note that she is basically calling Obama a liar. In fact, she is bashing most, if not all politicians as liars. But she is lying as she is saying all this. Listen for when she says she was never involved in politics before [Trump came along]. Well, well. well isn't that the SAME Susan Delemus who had by this time served a term as a state rep.? I wonder why she was not re-elected.

My last post on the subject: Here is what is going on with the Libertarian Party in NH. They may not have reached their goal, but they are alive in NH [en.wikipedia.org]

@K9Kohle789 Well, I am a Mass-hole myself. Born in Lowell. I hope some day to return there, maybe. The traffic, the bureaucracy and the cost of living kills you in Mass. But in NH it is the anti-maskers, the aforementioned militias gangs, the pick-up trucks with the confederate flag (my students call it the 'red neck' flag and I can hear my gr-gr-grandfather who served the Union Army in the 3rd NH infantry rolling over in his grave.) the low-wage teaching jobs (I'm making quite a bit more teaching in VT than I ever did in NH). I pay really high property taxes where I live but my mortgage is low.

@K9Kohle789 BTW, I am a fan of the Elephant Sanctuary in TN. Do you remember Benson's Wild Animal Farm in Hudson NH? I dubbed it Dachau for animals when I was 16 because of the horrible conditions there. It closed in 1986 and by 2004 I was curious as to where the elephants who had been held prisoner there had gone, so I googled "What happen to the Benson's Elephants" and the answer I got was "They loaded up their trunks and they moved to Tennessee" . They don't use that phrase on the website anymore At that time there were two Benson's elephants there. One died a month after I found the site and the other died a few years ago. I probably should have PM'd this to you. It is WAY off topic. Sorry everyone. I'm a story teller.

@K9Kohle789 Yes, I know about the view tax. Right now, my view is mainly my neighbors Trump signs. Where do your friends live? I used to live in Auburn, but I live in Claremont now. If you know anything about Claremont you are free to make any kind of snide remark that you would like to make.

@K9Kohle789 OMG, I just found a link to a letter I wrote to the Lowell Sun RE Benson's. [lowellsun.com]
