I've come to the conclusion that the Alien series of movies (the original four) is a great startup for religion, mirroring the edicts of Christianity ... With Ellen Ripley being the prophet ... The sacrifice for mankind ... In Alien, she finds the evil in the world, with Ash being the Judas. In Aliens, Disciples Hicks and Bishop help the Prophet ... And in Alien 3, the Prophet's sacrifice for mankind. Then, Alien Resurrection ... Yeah ... For more fun, as in all religions, I need tax exempt status ... And bountiful donations.
Science fiction is my religion....if I dare say so
I think you just like Sci-fy movies about strong women and monsters, if you can turn it into a religion for profit, good on you, but take care the world is full of copyrite lawyers.
But what if Christianity mirrors the archetypes of a heroic Greek (for example) drama? All the elements are there, and were present for centuries prior to the invention of the Christian religion. Christianity, it must be admitted, is not the prototype for the Alien series of films.
Keen observation there Mr Paine.
