Re: in the US:
Has Mr. Trump ever held a job outside of his own organization other than the Presidency? If so, how did he do? Perhaps, technically, his work on TV?
There are people who draw W-2s and, to one degree or another, try to advance in their careers and organizations less by real competence and more by some elements of attitude, bluster, dishonesty, abuse, blame-game, consolidation of power, etc. In such a scenario, the customer of the organization may become incidental to the career advancement and protection drama surrounding this person. Some would say that in some jobs, and in some organizations, competence and such abusive bluster and empire building are not mutually exclusive, though I think basically they are, or should be perceived that way for most positions.
In any event, my point here is that we voters are in effect on a hiring committee for the US Government organization, and we have to decide if we encourage this sort of abusive bluster and dishonesty approach to the top job in the organization. We should acknowledge that it's possible that the person in power, and their minions, may have already so badly corrupted the voting system that the actual process of making this decision may be corrupted beyond recognition, but I think it's possible we can overcome that. We'll see.
