nobody "goes" anywhere, wth are you saying?

The same place as everyone else: their atoms and energy are disbursed back into the universe.

Your Bio says you are a believer so what do you believe ?

1

Same place everyone else does, decomposing back into atoms.

Same place as the rest

The ground, just like everything else

I don’t know about agnostics but in my view when they die it’s life opening a door to the universe. Your body goes to the earth and nourishes it for new life, your thoughts get added to humanities universal knowledge and, your energy goes to the stars so they can shine more!

Same as everyone else. We don't 'go' anywhere. The components just stop working. When your car breaks down, nothing has gone away. Something has just gone wrong in the system to the extent that the whole system stops working. We can fix it and get it working again. Humans are much more complex than a car but when we understand it to that level we should be able to fix it indefinitely.

As an Atheist I believe I’m going where everyone regardless of belief goes. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, food for the worms. I will be cremated and reduced to about 5 pounds of ash in a plastic box. Seen it many times from the crematorium. I hope someone uses it to plant a tree or something. Not at all saddened by this fact. You get one shot in this life. What really matters is did you leave the world a better place while you were here?

Genesis 3:19 By the sweat of your face You will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return.”

The mind, all consciousness, dreams, aspirations, prejudices, opinions, memories, emotions, "soul" (term used very loosely,) and anything else associated with brain function ceases to exist. Physically, if the body is permitted to decompose naturally (which is what I am hoping for myself,) the body will be recycled. You will become food for a variety of species, from maggots to microbes, insects and invertebrates, bacteria and birds. Those critters will eventually meet their fate and their bodies, which now contain parts of you, are also recycled.

At some point some of your atoms could end up in an eagle or an elephant. A lion or a lily, a shark or a stork, a tree or a turtle.

I find this to be comforting. When I die I will cease to exist, but my remains will re-enter the biosphere and continue to participate in the circle of life. This, in a very real sense, is life after death.

we are not sure about that

The morgue then the funeral home, possibly the crematorium.

1

The decompose.

1

The same place as everyone else. we just know we do.

1

The same place we all do. The grave or ashes.

1

Where everything on the earth goes when death happens. Dust to dust.

1

On a long enough timeline? Back to the star that warms us.

1

We don't go anywhere.we are dead. For me, my body will be cremated after any parts of me can be used to help others.

Same place as everyone else. Nowhere.

The same place as everyone else. When you arrive you can notice the atheists as they are the only ones that don't look surprised. Has a neon sign that says nowhere in the window.

On to the next step... or maybe back to life as a reincarnation... or perhaps to a new realm of their choice... maybe just disappear in limbo... your pick...
