Wanted to share an economist's story with you.

Here an Indian media anchor interviewing two economists:

1. Amartya Sen (Nobel laureate) - Indian origin
2. Jean Dreze - Belgian origin, taught in London school of Economics and moved to India to work in Development Economics

The second one is interesting:

1. He teaches in India
2. He campaigns for elections for candidates who fight of honest development [theprint.in]
3. Speaks many Indian languages fluently
4. He is very modest
5. He was cited mixing with poor and downtrodden people

I watched him first 3 years ago and he has intrigued me with his sincerity of work, the desire to do field work with people and not be stuck in the books, research and conferences.
