At this point , T does not care about anything than saving his skin . Prison is on the back of his mind . If he can escape this , he is good .

He's following his script, he said he would do this.
We said he can't.
This will be a narrow victory for Biden, not the landslide I hoped for.
The immediate danger is Trump though, so I'll just be happy if we get 270 and it's done.
We all know that faith based lives follow the directions of their religious leaders, and for many those leaders are Christians and have no morality qualms with children taken from their parents and caged.
They don't understand math either because they think Trump is handling Covid well, despite the fact that the US has had a quarter of the deaths on the planet from the disease with only one twentieth of the population.
But their ministers told them Biden was a Venezuela style Socialist, and that's the only kind of Socialist they acknowledge, preferring to pretend that European Countries are U.S. Style Capitalist societies.
There's profound levels if ignorance, misinformation, and overt lies that confuse otherwise potentially good people.

No matter the outcome between Trump and Biden the Republicans learned last night that Americans agree with the way they govern.

He gets it. He wants to rile up his base. My town FB group is just full of locals all pissed off this morning saying they need to stop the voting.
