Today is Thanksgiving here in the states and because of all that has happened this year, I feel it even more important to recognize things to be thankful for.
I've been fortunate to have a job that allowed me to work from home,
I was able to spend even more time with my son and got to go to Disney with him,
I was extremely fortunate to receive the ability to become debt free,
and in a time when so many have lost their lives, I know it's self comforting but I have been fortunate enough to stay in good health and in good spirits.

What are you Thankful for this year?

Yes!
It is shameful that the obstructionist republican fascist will NOT help those who elected them!

Over 67 million have filed for unemployment since March 2020.

Over 140 million are to have only meal a day.

Over 120 do not have access to healthcare!

Those of us lucky to have food, shelter, and healthcare are more than sadden by these Obstructionist republican fascists who want to cull by any means possible!!!

With up to half our population over the edge of loosing everything, we should be able to help them, the rest of us are not that far away from loosing what we have left!!!

MY wish is that all this can end and we can feed, house, and provide healthcare for all those inhabit this country, that is my only wish I have!!!

I'm thankful that I haven't lost my job.
It's the only thing feeding me and it's routine for the car to be nearly out of gas, the vape cartridges are all dry, The bank is overdrawn $300 and I have a $40 tab with the lunch truck driver that lets me buy lunch, my only meal for the day.
So at 3:00 am every two weeks I see my balance go good and it's off to the gas station to fill up, and celebrate my gratitude with an energy drink and a couple of AM/PM cheeseburgers and a pack of Juul vape cartridges. I call it the feast at midnight, from when the money would arrive at 11:00 pm. two years ago.
Living in financial desperation is like being sentenced to life in the electric chair.
Thank goodness for free cappuccino at work.
I'm also thankful that the sorry son of a bitch that cooks fish in the cafeteria microwave works from home.

@Willow_wisp thanks for finding the positive. I know its a struggle, but keep up the drive you appear to have. Thanks for responding.
