I may have posted this here earlier, I can't remember...

Have you ever met a religious person who states that dinosaurs are made up bc we do not know what they sound like? How would you answer such a question?

"The bones, man, look at the bones!"

I'd tell them that there IS evidence of dinosaurs and none of their god.
Especially since they want to use sound as a criteria.
LOL

Of course we know what dinosaurs sounded like! It’s called “classic rock ...”

The funny thing is that this is the belief of an old coworker of mine. She told me she would not take her children to museums to see the dinosaur bones, nor movies or anything with dinosaurs bc they are a hoax...and that those bones are really giants...think Nephilim...

From the fossil bone records they could have studied the layout of bones and the possible muscle and flap within the neck of animals of similar and large size. A mock-up of a working model of the most likely could have pulses and bellows of air pumped through the model and produced a sound that could be recorded. Modelling is the most favored technique in science .

BUT it is all surmising and PROJECTION and NOT proof. They were probably produced first for Hollywood film sound men e.g Jurasic Park. Nothing wrong with surmising!. EXCEPT people do present it as proof.

I'd just tell them to shut up.

For the most part we do not know what dinosaurs sounded like or looked like. Their color is a big mystery, but what does that matter?

No, but I have met people in college who believed the Earth was not more than 6,000 years old

Actually, there have been experiments on parasauropholus dinos to try to determine what they sounded like:

As in so many instances, the crazed religious do not place themselves in position to get this kind of information. I once was told by someone that "We don't know about that," in a similar, but not religious, discussion. So, after telling him that "Yes, wed do know about that," I put together a little book list for him. The one book on the list that I now recall is called "Africa, A Biography."

I’ve had similar conversations. Apparently, the Devil put fossils there to make us doubt. I suppose you can question the existence of every person or thing (that would’ve made sound) from before the phonograph. Tasmanian Tigers, the 1906 earthquake, George Washington, etc.

Tell me what a dodo sounds like or a great orc.

There's no limit to what you can model or project. Monster Innovation always has a market.

Probably I would tell him/her to fuck off.

I'm with Santanaman. I don't waste my time talking to fools. Walk away.

what I don't get sometimes is why some of us make up shit to think about
some of us have no idea how to just take it in stride its always got to be a conflict if someone has a different idea of reality .......really?????

"Dinosaurs sounded exactly the way you do now."

Of all the prize idiots that I have encountered, none have asked me that question.

Most of the religious people I know are smart enough to never ask such an imbecilic and obviously moronic question.
