It’s the burden of the believer to prove it exists, not the critic.

Believers don't know that there is a god. They have faith that there is a god. Where there is knowledge there is no need for faith, and hence no need for religion.

No one really knows. I believe that no one knows where we were prior to arriving here, and no one knows where we're going. Therefore I believe I'll err
on the side of complete ignorance.

She is confusing faith/superstition/irrational belief "know" with empirical evidence "know." They are not the same thing!

I can not believe in any god without evidence. I always require someone to prove, with evidence otger than personal revelation, the existence of the god they believe in. Most have trouble even defining what they mean by " god".

She's wrong. She is confusing knowledge with other people's belief.

There has never been any proof of a god. It is a made-up human excuse to explain what cannot be currently explained by science. So there is ample proof of no God(s).

I think allowing others to "know God ", does'nt give you "the Answer".

Tell her "others do not possess powers of reasoning beyond myself"

Anyone who claims that there are gods has the burden of proof.
Your daughter doesn't know either. If she claims she does, it's on her to prove it.
