Further attempts by Big Tech to censor American Free Speech. If you doubted it before DOUBT NO MORE. They are trying to control all free dialogue that opposes their political ideas. They have just established their Anti-American core values stance. Using one mob as an excuse is just a false pretense to silence political opposition.

Bullshit. Nothing is stopping some right wing billionaire from creating a independent platform and phone so that Parlor can thrive in the market that feeds on bigotry and hate. Neither Apple or Google have any responsibility to support an obvious political group. Both companies have a right to create standards to use their platform and right wing bigots don't get preferential treatment.

No, left wing bigots do. Well I am glad we are clearly acknowledging the blatant political censoring and fascist practices being used. Thanks for your honesty.

@Flowerwall There you go again, making unsubstantiated claims because you can't actually back up your accusations and believe your feelings and purposeful misrepresentations should be respected as reality.

@redbai My opinion is MINE. You don't own it. Elements of fascism are becoming normalized in our society. If Big Tech continues a prolonged disruption of majority right-wing platforms they are the ones instituting a mass political discrimination campaign.

@redbai why not just say Flowerwall is a willfully obtuse blind apologist?
Oh, wait, how about saying Flowerwall you are an idiot....and that horse is Dead.....

@Flowerwall I don't remember saying that your opinion wasn't yours, it's just not grounded in reality. The only consistent thing about your posts.

@AnneWimsey, @redbai Why not just admig Nancy is violating her sworn oath?

"The New York Times ran a story today about the actions of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi behind the scenes against the president. Talk about “insurrection,” she was essentially fomenting a coup, and fomenting the military against the president, trying to remove him from the chain of command."

@Flowerwall Note how you don't provide a link but instead take the words out of context. It's dishonest as hell, but then that your forte isn't it?

It is not a "coup" to try and impeach a POTUS who instigated a riot that had a mob of white terrorists attack the Capitol Building because instigating the attack itself is an attempted coup. Are you also one of those idiots who thinks that pointing out something racist is racist? It sounds like the same kind of flawed thinking.

But I get it, your lose touch with reality allowed you to spin trying to get a renegade POTUS scared of losing the immunity for his crimes out of office into some kind of crime. Demonstrating how right my previous post was.

@redbai "In a phone call to the chairman, Gen. Mark A. Milley, Ms. Pelosi appeared to be seeking to have the Pentagon leadership essentially remove Mr. Trump from his authorities as the commander in chief. That could be accomplished by ignoring the president’s orders or slowing them by questioning whether they were issued legally.

But General Milley appears to have made no commitments. Short of the cabinet invoking the 25th Amendment or removing Mr. Trump through impeachment in the House and conviction in the Senate, it is unconstitutional to defy legal orders from the commander in chief.

Ms. Pelosi’s request, which she announced to the Democratic caucus as an effort to prevent “an unhinged president” from using the nuclear codes, was wrapped in the politics of seeking a second impeachment of Mr. Trump." NYTimes

@Flowerwall Do you think that explaining that Trump is "an unhinged president" somehow changes anything? The fact that he's unhinged justifies her actions. But you wanting an unhinged POTUS makes perfect sense.

@redbai It's an attempt at an early takeover because she fears that there may be unexpected events around the corner. Some say there is information on the stolen laptop.

@Flowerwall Another one of those 'opinions' you pulled out of your ass. Here's a shocker, a computer has information on it. Who would have guessed someone used a computer to store information? Wow! What a concept!

Are you really so ignorant as to not know that "information" is a generic term that is meaningless without some kind of context? And the idea that she has the ability to "take over: is another ignorant comment. But hey, why don't you humor everyone and explain what wacky idea you have that would allow her to "take over"? It's bound to be a pile of BS, but it might humor someone.

@redbai I was just going by what was stated in the articles. I have no special insider knowledge. The article said "coup", so I assume they meant early takeover. What info on computer? I wouldn't know that as I'm not the one who stole it.

@Flowerwall Actually you were making false accusations based on little or no knowledge and pretending that the accusations had merit.

@redbai " "In a phone call to the chairman, Gen. Mark A. Milley, Ms. Pelosi appeared to be seeking to have the Pentagon leadership essentially remove Mr. Trump from his authorities as the commander in chief." This NOT my opinion. She may use the guise of "unhinged", but her true motivations are not fully known to anyone other than her.

@Flowerwall That's right. Her "true motivations" are not known by anyone else and yet you put the implication of "coup" on them by taking some comments out of context and mixing them with ill informed opinions you pull out your ass. Making sure that Trump, who incited a riot and insurrection, does not have the option of starting a war is not unreasonable unless you're some kind of sycophant who sees nothing the man does as wrong.

@redbai This is from the press "she was essentially fomenting a coup, " not MY idea. It's conservative press, so you will vehemently disagree.

We should also look at how we are applying concepts of "Insurrection" "Sedition" "Treason" and "Coup" to events over the last year. That should be a sparate thread. I created, then deleted one because the topic is too broad and I'm not interested in going on with that right now.

@Flowerwall No, I will ask what I asked before, how is asking whether or not a traitor like Trump can start a war a "coup attempt", especially since he had recently invited a mob to ransack the Capitol Building in a coup attempt? How does checking that there are safeguards to Trump starting a war going to give her the power of the POTUS?

Like I said, some BS pulled out your ass. I couldn't care less if some other person used the same BS logic. The fact that you aren't bright enough to know it doesn't make sense is pathetic.

@redbai Would I personally descibe it as a "coup", probably not. I would like to discuss ideas behind defining what constitutes a coup, but I'm not sure it would apply here. Was it an attempt at an early takeover? Yes, but certain conditions would have had to applied to the takeover. The military would have had to agree and Nancy would have had to label Trump "unhinged".

It is not against free speech when it is inciting violence. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater when there is no fire as it could cause people to get hurt. Educate yourself on the Constitution.

Give me a specific string of words that were spoken. I don't want feelings or opinions. Or the psychedelic spin on msm, I want a string of spoken words that define the incitement to violence you are speaking of.

@Flowerwall Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani’s statement during the same rally calling for a “trial by combat” to resolve fraud disputes was particularly egregious and could make him especially vulnerable to charges

@Mvtt Please put it into context now. The fuller paragraph. Or tell me when he said it so I can look it up. Often short strings of text can be taken out of context and taken for the literal meaning when a figurative meaning is what's truly meant. You wouldn't be deliberately misrepresenting though, I'm sure. Just from your description it sounds like a figurative use of the word to describe the process of going through court cases, the media challenge and spin, opposing voices who would challenge every step. Combat - a stronger word for fight. Like ppl say "The fight of our lives" To describe something, the most challenging in life. It does not mean actual physical blows of attack.

@Flowerwall here’s the relevant bit. Research for yourself.

@Flowerwall wow you do need help. Seems like you are part of the problem.

@Mvtt "We are going to find criminality there." He's talking about a voter fraud investigation. How could any other meaning be construed? If you put literal combat as meaning then the next 2 - 3 sentences make no sense. It would be like having a normal conversation then just blurting out an instruction for violence.

@Flowerwall the religious mind sees what it wants to see. I hope you get out of the cult one day soon.

@Mvtt This isn't about Trump anymore. If Trump leaves office 1/20 it's not the end of the world. I liked Obama and Biden was his VP. I do feel some level of mistrust in basic competence of Biden. HOWEVER this is not about Trump at this point. It's about democracy, fair elections, our obviously issue prone voting system, and do our elected representatives, the cronies, still care about the constitition and addressing people's concerns adequately.

@Flowerwall I recognise it’s very difficult to change your mind about conspiracy theories, and other mental commitments induced by a cult, for fear of looking silly. But you have to try. Speak with a psychologist please.

@Mvtt This is a frequent tactic of the ppl here. "You are crazy" "See a therapist" Let me ask you a Q, if there was evidence that noone disputed that Trump had in fact won the election, what would your response be?

@Flowerwall my response to an undeniable trump win would be to be fine with it. I had to accept him winning the first time.
Just like I would have to accept if Jesus came down and performed miracles giving all amputees their limbs back. I would no longer be atheist.
You on the other hand don’t change your mind given straight up video evidence.
So, given your lack of reason, I sincerely suspect you are victim to cult-like thinking. Which, I believe, your mind may only be helped, through psychological therapy.

@Mvtt Okay clearly explain to me why my interpretation was faulty and don't say "Because it's from Trump's atty" I clearly explained my reasoning, now explain yours. Do you think violence had really occurred when someone says ,"The fight of my life" phrase?

"So, given your lack of reason, I sincerely suspect you are victim to cult-like thinking."

I just gave this reason - "this is not about Trump at this point. It's about democracy, fair elections, our obviously issue prone voting system, and do our elected representatives, the cronies, still care about the constitition and addressing people's concerns adequately." So if it's NOT about Trump, I can get over Trump, why the "cult like thinking" comment?

@Flowerwall no it isn't, it's about assault with violence against the foremost legislative body in this country, urged onby drump, his family & his cronies. Period!

@AnneWimsey Care about the legislative body, but turn blind eye when it's against the rest of the nation, the ppl and the damage is 1000fold or more! What an elitist, you are! Beyond belief! You don't care when it's citizens, cops, businesses , personal property, state government units, or local government units - only the legislators. Wait, are you a CRONY? Unreal!

We also need to look at the number of arrests and charges in DC following all these protests over the past 12 months to make sure selective political persecution is not happening as it appears to be happening in the media.

Are you still spouting your ignorant trump love bs?

Don't worry. There will be a reaction to this. It will happen. At some point the law will correct the wrongdoing. I have faith.

@Flowerwall Yeah, they'll find out that Trump doesn't have their back (as he lied when he said he'd march with the traitors to the Capitol Building) and go hide in whatever little hole they hid in before Trump made bigotry and sedition popular. For many, the change will be them cowering in hopes that they weren't caught on any video and the FBI aren't looking for them instead of openly ranting their bigotry and stupidity in public.

@Flowerwall get mental help. You obviously need it because you're nuts.

@redhog Gaslighting not welcome here.

@Flowerwall its not gas lighting. You have severe delusion problems.

I'm 100% in favor of ALL social media shutting down ANYONE inciting VIOLENCE! Trump and his disgusting minions should have been shut down years ago.

Again, how did all the other violent groups arrange over the summer? Or did you hear no mobs, see no mobs? Listen Google and Apple are considering/attempting to silence political dissent which is a serious Anti-American violation.

4

Ohferpetessake, you prefer more BS like Tuesday? Fomenting violence, inciting to riot, encouraging sedition, etc have been actual Crimes for just about forever,in every country, including this one, for Obviously good reason!

No I do not prefer more violence. Who said that? Whether those crimes occurred in past, okay, I get it. But you don't get label everything as "Fomenting violence, inciting to riot, encouraging sedition" just because you want to. As I said in other post the Sens who are calling for Cruz and Hawley to step down, are engaging in political persecution which a STATED VIOLATION of their sworn oath of office. And these companies have shut down political based discussion, aka engaging in political biased treatment and should be held responsible for this violation of public trust.

@Flowerwall ummm, the evidence of their CRIMES, actual fomenting, inciting,& encouraging,is all over the Actual news, with the results shown extensively Tuesday. You apparently can ignore cause & effect.....wake the F upp!

@Flowerwall They have no legal obligation to give a platform to any individual or group.
If they find that anyone's position go against, or otherwise violate their terms of use, they get to deny them the use of said platform.

It is not a violation of the public trust.
They are not a government agency.

Just because some people hold certain positions and opinions, they have no right to expect any private company to give them use of their platform.

@AnneWimsey Give me a specific string of words that were spoken. I don't want feelings or opinions. Or the psychedelic spin on msm, I want a string of spoken words that define the incitement to violence you are referring to.

@Flowerwall Careful there you are starting to sound like a broken record.

@Jolanta I don't know what you mean. If these apps are allowing content that is a clear direct incitement, okay I get it, make them tone it down. But again, how were these other riots all summer organized? They did not use the old fashioned landline. So why political based discrimination? If they shut out a Dem site I would find it equally Anti-Ametican and problematic.

@Flowerwall Google " Trumps tweets since Jan 2" or go to Twitter itself, or go to YouTube & find his remarks on mic & on camera, since then...there were many such before then, but I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself.

@AnneWimsey I'm not spending my time reading Trump's old tweets. You are the one making the accusation, then present me with no evidence.

@AnneWimsey If I was going to make an accusation I would atleast have some clear idea I was basing it on. Something would stick out in my mind. He said - xyz.

@Nessie_W These attacks went on all summer long. Police have been attacked all summer long. They tried setting a place on fire with police inside. Why was Big Tech not acting THEN? Like I said clear up the clear, direct calls for violence on platforms, but don't just shut out all this discussion completely. It's new brand fascist. If they do that within a reasonable amount of time it's forgiveable, if not these companies are horrible and Anti-American. And if they did not block platforms that hosted these groups who were doing this previously in summer they are duplicitous as to being motivated by staving off violence.

They are private companies that can do whatever they please.

Did pro-fascist antifa and related Dem groups plan meetings on any apps on Google and Apple devices or were they using telegrams?

@Flowerwall didn't see them planning an insurrection anywhere

@JonnaBononna @JonnaBononna "insurrection" LOL. Did you mean the unruly mob? LOL One unruly criminal mob doesn't an insurrection make. But you've probably been well groomed by msm to call it that. LOL That really is funny. I'm pretty sure our military had it under control. I don't think this overall desent into mayheim we've seen this year and last is a good thing, not by any means. But to see the lie of insurrection being floated means people are surely losing their grip on reality or unbelievably gullible. For a bunch of religious skeptics, c'mon, I don't believe you are gullible like that.

@Flowerwall no such thing as antifa. Youre delusional. Get mental help.

@Flowerwall "Pro-fascist antifa" is an oxymoron.

Antifa specifically means anti-fascist.
It's also not a group, it's a concept.

@Flowerwall I didn't realize that the brainwashed Trump cult had infiltrated this site too. Go back to the QAnon and Parler fairylands. This place is for the grown-ups.

@redhog, @KKGator, @LisaLisa92806 Good day!

@KKGator Look up the definition of fascist. Read. Understand.

@Flowerwall Dude. YOU need to look up the definition of fascist!
TRUMP is a wannabe dictator/authoritarian. He's the weak man's idea of a strong man. 🤣

@Flowerwall You have no idea what you're talking about.

@KKGator, @LisaLisa92806

"Censorship in Italy was not created with Fascism, nor did it end with it, but it had heavy influence in the life of Italians under the Regime.

Some of the main goals were, concisely:

-Control over the public appearance of the regime,(currently "Don't say voter fraud on youtube," ) also obtained with the deletion of any content that could allow opposition, suspicions, or doubts about fascism. (Currently removing Parlr)

-Creation of national and local archives (schedatura) in which each citizen was filed and classified depending on their ideas, habits, relationship and any shameful acts or situations which had arisen; in this way, censorship was used as an instrument for the creation of a police state. (Currently, Democrat lawmakers have made similar calls)

Censorship fought ideological and defeatist contents, and any other work or content that would not enforce ...fascism."

@Flowerwall WTF are you talking about....no such thing!

@Nessie_W Yes you have given a definition that is close, not 100%, but close to what we see from many sides today and the new brand fascism that is taking root present day, evidenced in this Big Tech manuvering as posted above

@Nessie_W " As long as you don't physically hurt anyone because of your god." LOL OOOOoookay. Where are you generating such inane ideas from? Oh wait, I know, you're a duped Dem. I mean you really think everyone who disagrees with you is advocating violence? That has to be it! It's the persistent msm brainwashing you've been subjected to. I would never advocate for violence.

But I so get it. The msm and even members of congress you see them all caught in this pitiful, extremely embarrassing lie of "Insurrection". It is a moment of deceit so apparent, so undeniable, so laughable yet people buy it like the well trained sheep that they are, hook line and sinker. I haven't even watched msm, but I guessed this technique would be employed, and sure enough there are the entremauneurs fast at work across all these news agencies. Okay so we get the news organizations are largely off the wall, but to see it from elected officials, the cronies, adds an element of surrealism unsurpassed in recent American history. We are truly being lead by people who do not have good judgement. And their sworn allegiance to the constitution is highly doubtful across the board the more the furtherance the Lie is pushed.

@Flowerwall Have you ever stopped to consider that it's actually YOU who have been duped?

Just asking.

@KKGator YOU just suggested the idea of violence from me. And I'm the duped one? Gaslighting not welcome here. Either address the exact issue you just brought up, or move on. Don't change topic when you are wrong. You have proven your propenisty toward narcissim in another subthread.

Also if you think I don't know anything about Trump's background, you are wrong and know nothing about where I'm coming from. I know there is a lot to question here. But I still feel absolutely irregardless of Trump, it's not about him anymore, there are bigger issues at stake. We need an election commission and we need people at the top to stop with fabricated insurrection exaggeration. It was an unruly mob storming the capitol. Don't attempt to use the actions of a mob to justify your OWN political whims - for elected officials this conduct is a stated violation of their sworn oath.

@Flowerwall Not one word of what you have accused me of is remotely true.

Haven't suggested violence.
Haven't attempted gaslighting.
Haven't lied, about anything.

Continually calling me a narcissist doesn't make me such.
It's just a lame deflection from your untenable positions and accusations.

Bye now. Enjoy your day.

@KKGator I mistook you for The Nessie when I said you suggested "hoping I don't engage violence" from post of this person above.

"It's called gaslighting, and it's super manipulative. Look out for lies, isolation, projection, and having them say "you're crazy." A given definition of gaslighting.

KKGator to Myself in other post " In all honesty, I don't think you're well. Please seek professional mental health services."

But I guess that you HAVEN'T gaslighted, right? I will have a great day, thanks, now that we have cleared up the truth about your words.

@Flowerwall I expressed genuine concern for your well-being
I made a sincere suggestion.

It wasn't gaslighting.
I don't think it's necessary for me to do that to anyone.
I say precisely what I mean, and mean what I say.

@KKGator Would someone who was "genuinely concerned for my well being" say something like
"what in the actual fuck are you talking about?" because they disagreed with my position? Such vulgar and boorish verbal responses are in line with an individual displaying a high degree of self-importance and disregard for their conversational partner's well being.

@Flowerwall Thanks for the psychoanalysis.
