I hear this from other white people I know. I am myself a white person, subset female. Do not think for one minute we get treated equal to the white male so at risk today.
The white poor now make up the majority in our society. The middle class is pretty much gone. Like it or not it was the officials ya'll chose to elect that did this to you/us. The refusal to understand that equal for all does not mean one group has to give up something to achieve that equality but that is what some men claim when they campaign to get your vote.
All you need to do is look at the history of the republican party in America.
This weekend there will be on some people's news feed lots of articles on Martin Luther King and the history of Black people in America.
It won't be on fox, oann or newsmax very much.
I may be white but as a female my career was much harder and paid less unless I was in the Engravers Union, even then the men would try and disrupt my focus for the work I needed to get done to make deadline. Not all the guys on the crew did this but all it can take is one asshole to make an eight hour shift unnecessarily stressful.
The white privilege is about what DOES NOT happen to you/us in society.

an excellent perception & perspective - that unfortunately -
in this day & age - still remains largely unrecognized & rarely utilized -
hence the mass of - willfully nescient - fools - inciting insurrection -

Our privilege kicks in my friend any time we come in contact with the police and the courts, seek credit, apply for a job or, as we have recently witnessed, engage in protests.

Do you live in Jennings, Florida? If so you live in a culture which over 200 years old and constructed to create and maintain white protestant dominance and privilege. I know that is true, as I grew up in Madison County, the county just west of Hamilton County.

But,l the irony is that in building that culture, a white culture of undereducated, near poverty white people was also created.
