Why does Australia seem to be a testing ground for what people will put up with? Nanny state central.

This is bullshit and authoritarian. Why not did they have similar registers for TB etc in the past? Because we needed to be convinced it was essential due to "safety" and the fear campaign has been non stop for a year now. So airlines/ sporting grounds/ restaurants can insist you produce a vaccine passport............or else pay for 2 business class tickets, or a whole row at the stadium, a whole section of a restaurant. All about keeping people safe as everyone knows the virus stops at 1.5m.
But the govt only collects the information for it's own confidential use, yet private companies may demand we produce evidence?
From reports I have seen covid vaccines are not stopping you catching the virus and passing it on, merely protecting you from developing severe symptoms. A good weapon for sure in controlling this pandemic, taking the strain off medical services. But a register? A bit too far, Covid-1984 stuff.
Hopefully there is less than a 50% uptake in Australia.
