Hi there!
I hope you're doing fine! I'm fine but many Italian regions (including the mine one) are "turning red", from March 15th to April 5th.
This means we'll have the strictest rules, until Easter Monday. We're facing the 3rd wave and elderlies are getting vaccinated. I have 3 out of 4 grandparents and they will be vaccinated shortly. I don't know if all these lockdowns do something. I only hope all this s**t ends ASAP!

We all do, I can't even get a shot around here but rural areas can't get enough people to sign up.

What region are you in? I have family in Rome and in Como.
Here in Spain the all the regions except Madrid have imposed movement restrictions for March 17th to March 21st (because of San José😉 and then also from March 28th until April 5th because of Easter.

I live near Bergamo, which is in Lombardy.

@Unicorn85 I have only driven through the outskirts of Bergamo. I usually visit Como every year, sometimes twice a year.
It's an 18 hour drive from Mojacar, where we live.
Wasn't Bergamo one of the very first cities to be affected, in March last year?

@Petter yes, it was. Now Brescia and Milan are the most affected areas. Patients from these areas are coming to Bergamo, because there are no longer beds in Brescia and Milan. Last year a field hospital was built in an building which is normally used for fairs and I think those patients are going there too.
