Does anyone here have restless leg syndrome? Some sites say you need iron and I was told cooking on an cast iron pan gave me too much iron which took me too long to bleed. I am on pramipexole for RLS and all the swearing I've been up to is dedicated to that med because it can cause obesity--thanks doc. Another drug mentioned that I'm on to help me sleep is amytriptyline which CAUSES RLS.

Anyone got suggestions on better meds? I need to sleep and without meds won't happen. I also need to get thru an evening without RLS. I'm beginning to think sugar is the culprit but also heard too little potassium and magnesium cause RLS. I'm confused as you can tell.

Have you considered discussing these matters with your doctor?

I deal with this rarely if I don't take my daily magnesium. I also found a product called Restful Legs that seems to help. Used to have it often until I learned the magnesium trick.

@K9Kohle789 Depending on day either 500 or 1000 mg. Magnesium Oxide. Depends how achy I feel
