Oh so kind.
This morning, after being woken again at sunrise by Groucho, I went out on to the veranda with his breakfast, he flew up, landed on my shoulder, climbed down my arm and dropped a dead mouse in to my hand.
So as not to insult him, I waited until he started eating then discreetly and quietly placed what I think may have been his offering to me in a paper bag, then put it in the rubbish bin.
I just hope he wasn't giving me the hint that he, at least I think he is a male, that it was a proposal of marriage Tawny Frogmouth style because I'm only interested in the Human variety of Birds ( Aussie term for women here) and not the Feathered variety.

The crows here are are going to be having to forage for themselves in a month or more. Hummers have plenty of feeders in the neighborhood so the loss of mine is nothing big but I'm the only corvid feeder.
