Are people like Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Jim Jordan, Louis Gohmert, Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnel and on and on, the irredeemable scumbags they are because they're politicians, or because they're Republicans, or because they're lawyers, or because they're men? People like this share so many similarities that I'm just trying to determine which indicator is the operative one.

MEN -- No, because we also have/had Marjorie Taylor Green, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, as well as the likes of Ann Coulter and the entire female staff of Fox News.

LAWYERS -- Also no despite strong evidence to consider this but there are still too many outliers like Donald Trump who's a real estate developer and has no law degree nor the brains to get one.

POLITICIANS -- Whole lotta evidence for this but I've cited numerous examples of equally horrendous people who are not elected officials of any kind. Although there is overwhelming evidence that these people gravitate to this profession as a career.

REPUBLICANS -- Let's see, this covers both male and female,, lawyers, politicians, pundits, broadcasters, real estate developers, everyone from the highest office to the lowliest slob on the street who vote these dipshits into office -- pretty much everyone,

After careful consideration of the evidence and weighing all elements equally, I've concluded the operative factor in all this incompetence and shitbaggery is being a member of the Republican Party. All the rest of it seems to just follow naturally like stinking really bad naturally follows being a dead fish.
