What’s the link between Clark Kent before his Superman days and the 1985 hit song Take On Me?

I feel sure many people don’t realise when they’ve watched a number of movies and many TV series, that the music they heard in the background was quite frequently by the band a-ha. Yes...the Norwegian band that in the USA is only really known for their mega hit Take On Me. They of course did the theme for James Bond movie The Living Daylights too, but either the band or lead vocalist Morten Harket have provided background music on many other soundtracks. Here for instance is a-ha with their song I Wish I Cared which featured in an episode of TV series Smallville a number years ago. I’m including a live stage version of the song from a 2001 concert in Oslo which included Anneli Drecker on vocals in duet with Morten.
