As a student of both I have read about John C. Calhoun. Both appear to be or to have been aggressive, vicious, and malevolent demagogues devoid of both ethics and patriotism. Calhoun almost single-handedly led the charge of the south into the Civil War. Where is Jordan trying to lead people?????
