I just found out my best friend from age 5 through age 18 is losing his battle with cancer.
He was doing OK with chemotherapy for about 8 months, but now the cancer has spread.
I suppose it provides some comfort to Christians to believe someday they will be reunited with their best friends and a 2000 year old Jew who lives in the sky.
No such comfort here.
