I have been on this front for a long time. I am glad to see it finally is getting some much deserved attention.
nice, opposing the Republican attacks on the US voting system is a worthy and difficult task, but who is we?
given the lack of reply I am getting, and given the bad signs we see above:
a) lack of link, to anything.
b) lack of attribution or explanation as to who is "we"?
c) glaringly irrational accompanying gobbledygook as to "Lessor countries" and "Democratic" states or countries and the "cloak of legality"
d) very energetic tone (not necessarily a bad sign in and of itself, but not a good sign in conjunction with the other points)
..... given these signs, I"m guessing (and yes I could be wrong) that the above is agitation and propaganda masquerading as a heart-felt defense of the voting system in the US against the Republican attacks. Many of us, IMO are easily drawn in to this discussion because we are outraged by the attacks on the system. I can't say whether the poster is doing this deliberately or is themselves a victim, but their choice to post the nonsense about "cloak of legality" is, in my opinion, not a great sign. Maybe (hopefully) there's some better explanation.
