I’m a believer in the hidden history of matriarchal rule. It comes from the top down, and is absolutely purposeful.

I know the top down bottom up theory. I like it a lot.Thanks for bring that up.

@factorbelief LOL!

Yes. One of my favourite definitions of feminism: “Feminism is the radical notion that women are human beings.”

Very good. As expected from reading the comments too many males are unable to see how all of us fit into this to some degree or another. Now my own particular slant: I so like seeing another large, muscular man who's not portrayed as stupid or violent. The more I get to know Terry Crews the more I like him.

Me too. Seems like a cool dude.

I don't like when people generalize. The same thing can be said for some women who do not treat men respectfully. Just sayin'...

definitely agree on both counts but, in this instance... he's talking about his experience in a particular (sports?) culture...

notallmen giant eye roll

Communication between the genders sometimes gets lost in the language. Yes it is the same but m/f speak and understand differently. When one speaks to the other translate in a way that the other can understand.
I do have a question. Becaues he was referring to a striper ,Would you won't your man getting to know her, or just put his money down and leave. I know it is a hypothetical question, but it creates a train of thought. And he is right in what he said. But not all men are that way. Some are more intelligent and aware.Don't hate us all because of that.

Makes a lot of things fall together

I do not comprehend this.

I suppose there are men like that. Fortunately, there are many more who are not.
Does it have a relationship to intelligence and culture?

Agree with your first 2! but then...I think connecting it up with intelligence and cultures is a slippery slope. Should be discussed because some cultures ARE testosterone driven and sexist but have to approach it with kid gloves...

Connecting it up with male dominated culture (sports etc) then YES! Definitely. But women play a sad part in this, too

Totally agree. Terry Crews referred to strip clubs where women are not humanized. He's right. In college I did an anthropological study of the Combat Zone in Boston. The majority of men were there to gawk but when it came to conversation forget about it. They didn't want to know anything about the girls.

Sad but true.
