OMG! My son worked there as an intern last summer. No matter what this turns out to be about, it's scary!

Pretty scary. Sounds like many households (like mine growing up). The fridge/freezer is so full of stuff one is often amazed and stuff in the back which has been forgotten for years has started taking on a life of it's own. Who knows, maybe that's how human life began. Still, one would expect critical labs would do better.

I know. The poor lab assistant! That's what my son does now, but at a university. Holy crap, it could have been him. I hope this disease doesn't get out. I also just read there is a case of monkey pox in Maryland.

@Organist1 However, we have all benefited from the vaccines. Most of us have a small vaccine scar. Was your son vaccinated?

@JackPedigo Yes, come to think of it. He has all his vaccines. Just imagine if it got out and hit the unvaccinated people. It kills one of every 3 people.

@Organist1 Has any study been done on this vial to see if it's still active? Perhaps it's best to not even open it.

@JackPedigo Not yet. I think the discovery was very recent.

@Organist1 At least the smallpox vaccine was created before the age of tRump.
