This was a good read on confirmation bias. It appears most conservatives are misled when it comes to capital punishment, and leftwing progressives are grossly misled when it comes to gun-related crime statistics (not that I'm surprised by either). Just about every human being on this planet harbors some sort of confirmation bias, yet few are able to get past said personal biases long enough to hear out the opposing view.-
"This was a good albeit somewhat lengthy read."

There are several good arguments pro and con as respects Capital Punishment.

My position on Capital Punishment is simple, that being I don't believe the State has the right to execution. I recognize this is a personal belief and has many good counter arguments.
