So last night i again watched Harrison Ford as The President in the movie "Air Force One". Great action, great suspense, very enjoyable.
And it made me sad....a President who cared about his famiky & others, had morals, intelligence & physical prowess too. I hated the Interventionist stance he took in the beginning of the movie, i always have, but he had such good intentions & ideals!
Compare to drump.....
That orange shitstain has ruined more than we will ever know.

Take pleasure in the fact that his world is falling apart. The Jan 6th committee has the goods on him and his crony's. As his lawyers and underlings in congress flail about protesting and attempting to divert attention the clock continues to tick on and every moment that passes is another moment closer to the eventual outing of his crimes. Before too long he will have to appear in front of the committee and his minions will be forced to watch him and his pathetic attempts to lie and weasel out of any accountability. unfortunately for him Adam Schiff is so much smarter and adept when it comes to anything He will be shown ( On national tv,) for the bumbling, asshole he is and his public persona will be as damaged as his private one. I can't wait until he has to fall back on the old tried and true attempt of all guilty parties and shows up in a walker of wheelchair in an attempt to gain sympathy and his supporters are forced to see how weak and stupid their hero really is.

And most likely permanently.

The really sad thing is he could disappear tomorrow and be immediately replaced by someone just as bad or worse. No shortage of bad actors waiting in the wings….

Jimmy Carter .

The Peanuthead!!

@CuddyCruiser Yes, he was a farmer raising peanuts . He was also a war hero for putting his own life at serious risk , while saving other military men under fire and since leaving the Presidency , has continued to help build houses for humanity . He's one of the few Presidents who had a semblance of the personality traits this post discussed .

If only real presidents were more like Hollywood presidents how much better America would be.

I've been watching a lot of old movies over the pandemic. I saw that one again, and it's good. I saw Morgan Freeman play President in a disaster movie in the 90s. He was fantastic. Lots of others. So many great presidents in movies. The real ones, well, not so much. The binary political party system in the US doesn't allow for presidents of principle or conviction. That lesson was finally learnt from the Obama Presidency. Great speeches do not a great president make: courageous actions and standing up against power does.
